Yeah I know that 2012 Macs and above can run Catalina but the original poster said that they were running Snow Leopard on a 2014 MacBook Air which I thought was impossible seeing as how most newer Macs come with the OS that was released at the time that particular model was released and couldn't

Hello, I am helping somebody who owns a MacBook Air 2014 with Leopard on it. If they upgrade to Catalina, will the system perform OK, or should I find a Snow Leopard installer for them. The App Store does present Catalina on the first page as an upgrade option, but I have no idea if it will just
