Hello Kristeen,
As far as the crashing is concerned I think my fresh clean install has fixed
that. Did you just install over the previous version of Mac OS X? I’ve just
noticed that in my security section of system prefs some startup program has
been blocked and there’s a button to allow. As th

have a Mac mini from 2014 and it only has eight gigs of RAM. In my case, I have
pretty much narrowed it down to not having enough memory. Don’t know exactly
why VO is targeted, but I know memory is a problem for me. U
it could still be useful !to try with a new account on your machine. Just go
into system preferences and click the add account button. After testing it is
just as easy to delete the account.

Hello Jonathan,
As I have said and now Jason has said. It has worked previously but doesn’t
work now. You have the newer version. If Apple are going to deprecate braille
support for certain braille displays then they should be open with the
community. But as I sent the text from the accessibili
VoiceOver no

Hello,
Only will I take such a step if I can read the log that states what has gone
wrong. Just blindly doing something that has been done with the clean fresh
install seems like a waste of time.

Hello,
As I stated the display works well during the install. Well in it’s 8 dot messy
braille way. It bleeps through out the boot process so the Mac sees it.

One thing you might try is to wipe the Voiceover settings and reset
them from scratch.
Same thing with the braille display.

Hi!
Hmm, if the brailliant worked in previous versions that’s very strange indeed.
I don’t have a brailliant but can’t the brailliant displays emulate Handytech
displays?
You might try that first.
Does other things work on this port you connected your braille display to?
Might be worth checking.

Hello Mike,
I have now just done that. VoiceOver died during the migration assistant so I
left it over night. CMD + F5 has brought Daniel back. However, no braille. Has
USB braille support for the Brailliant displays been deprecated? How do I
review VoiceOver crash logs?

save them for the next major release.

Hello All,
I have a Mac Mini 2013 with 16GB of RAM. All previous upgrades have gone well.
However, just before Christmas I upgraded to Mojave and I keep having some kind
of VoiceOver crash. I have reinstalled Mojave 3 times now. Each time it works
well for a week or so. Then I get busy notices.
