Do you not use time machine and does the backup restore the settings?
You could look at twain shin interface but this is probably more than you want
to do.

Hi, Well its been like 4 days since I upgraded from Yosemite to
10.11.2. Everything seems to be working fine... Except, I have a
couple of mac app store apps that seem to freeze at times. I figured
the apps I downloaded from other locations would be the trouble
makers, but I'm finding that's not th
10.11.2 is very good. Mail works pretty well in my opinion, nice snap to pit,
and VO seems more stable. I’d definitely do the upgrade.
