sure it has plenty, if you're looking to use your iMac or Mac Mini as you
would your iPhone / iPod Touch, i.e. using flick gestures etc, then it
allows for that. without this you cannot swipe or click at your machine.

with it, Voice Over on the Mac itself enables touch gestures... sounds
great.

Yes, I meant the Magic Trackpad.

Just curious as to whether it has any specific benefits for somebody who 
is vision impaired, or if it would end up as another expensive 
paperweight (of which I have more than enough!).
