Absolutely nothing. I had a kernel panic, had to reinstall Mavericks from a completely erased drive, and when I was finished my Bootcamp was fine.

I would be installing windows 8.1. I was wondering what happens to the bootcamp partition when Apple puts out a new operating system for the mac. I have read reports that bootcamp doesn't work properly after an upgrade. After the upgrade to mavericks some people couldn't boot into windows. Has anyone done an upgrade with bootcamp already installed and how did you get on? Hoping you can tell me that it won't be a problem.
