The new iPod has the home button. It does not have touch ID. Just the good old
home button like all the previous iPods have had. It’s basically the same exact

It works really well. And if you own your phone outright when you upgrade, you
have a constant upgrade path for your iPod. I've been very happy doing it this

I agree, Mary. I have been using my iPhone 7 as my iPod ever since I got my
iPhone X. I think that when I upgrade my iPhone next year, I'll just start
using my iPhone X as my iPod.

I would get an iPad mini for that kind of money. I just got the 5th gen mini
for about $400 and love it. I don’t see the need for an iPod touch since I
have what I need and it most likely will only get maybe 1 or 2 mater iOS
updates if we are lucky.
