The Zoom Ex runs on the mac/windows. It’s a USB camera device that you download the software for and it works a lot like knfb reader, eye-pal, etc. I love it due to the fact that if you’re scanning something that has a ton of pictures intertwined with the text, as opposed to open book, or

Hello, 1. If you are thinking of the pearl camera, I suggest that you save the money. Its rather expensive but not as accurate as a flatbed scanner. 2. I have not tried the latest version of K1000 but if you want something cheap you can go for the omnipage which is now available
