Agreed; seems much more likely that this will be Apple’s opportunity to move us
all into the streaming world. Never say never, I suppose, but at best iTunes
will be in the Utilities folder or something. I can’t imagine them trying to
keep any aspect of the local library management stuff,
I’d be surprised if the replacement has a ripping tool in it,

Interesting, I find Ripping something with iTunes really really easy and I hope
it is just as easy with whatever they replace it with.

Best guess are the 3 individual apps that will replace iTunes on the
Mac. These apps are already on the iDevices.

In that way I’m probably lucky as I’ve never met any of the previous
incarnations of iTunes, so I don’t know what I’m missing. I hope they update
the books app to include audio books.
I wonder what will happen to the iTunes app for windows? Not that I use that so
it won’t effect me.

Hi,
Try using tab or interacting. The "Get" was the one that messed with me for a
bit. Don't look for it in the HTML web area, just VO-left from that area and
the "Get" is right there easy as pie.

Yeah, the App Store was a little more challenging to get a grasp of. I'm OK

Probably so. What I have trouble with are the changes that came with
Mojave. The Mac App store is not intuitive at all. iTunes is better but
I made mistakes and at one point had to do a restore.

Hi,
I doubt that it will be that problematic to make the change over. I expect
that it will be similar to the looks and feel of the iOS Music app, but may
have a bit more to it since it's on the Mac. I would guess that playlists,
smart playlists, folders and such will all still be there and
Sure glad I haven't spent any time doing that lately--you know, b/c changing
the genre of most of your music library doesn't really count.. lol

Yup. I may try to "attend" WWDC next week. A week or so ago, there

change. I think too I will spend much more time in the 10.15 beta when

Hi,
Interesting indeed. I wonder if Audio Books will remain in the Music app or if
they will update the Books app to now handle audio as well. This announcement
should cause a bit of a stir, both from the pro and con sides.
