Hello List,

I have a BootCamp partition with Win 8.1 installed on. For reasons that I don't
want to get into here, I need to wipe out. On the Mac side, I have opened up
BootCamp assistant, but the third option to install or remove Win 7 or higher
is dimmed. When I enter on the continue button, I get an alert message stating
something like this that the drive can't be formatted to install Windows nor
can it be restored to a single partition in the OS journal disk. I tried to
Google the topic to get some instructions on how to solve this, but no success.
I would like some help on how to go about this. Hopefully, it won't involve a
full restore of the OS software. I am using a MacBook Air 2013, with Mountain
Lion.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

WARMEST regards,
Eileen
