Well Simon, I am also now looking for work after 23 years of having a good job.
But I will try and find something and it will be very difficult but I am up for

I’m sticking to Audio Face time if I can help it. But companies want to use
Skype and if you are looking for work, and you do a job, you have to use Skype.
I just got the hang of Windows Skype, but the Mac Skype, no thanks.

agree with you.
it wasn’t to bad until the last update but now even tho the shortcuts work, you
just get blank windows during calls.
