You don’t need to slide, just double tap. Make sure you’re on the slide to
power off element and then double tap.

Oh, thank you very much. I have learnt something new today as I thought we had
to slide and power off also. I do double tap it generally and never thought
that slide was a sighted thing!
I am still amazed that I can use Face ID, it still makes me laugh.

When you want to power off the I phone it says slide to power off. I would
like to know how to slide please? I've tried sliding to the right, up and down
