Hi Brad and Joe,
Thanks to you both for your help. I had already restarted my phone, so I
decided to try Joe’s suggestion. I turned Push back on, and then restarted the
Mail app and everything is now back to normal.

I’ve had this happen before with my AT&T/Yahoo email.
This has nothing to do with anything on your device, rather it is something
going on with your email provider’s mail server.
Just be patient, and the problem should resolve itself.
