Time Machine Encryption

I am considering taking this step which means wiping the current TM drive. So before I do this, I wish to know if one can still access files in the backups. Also can 1Password work with this? So many passwords these days. From E.T.'s Keyboard... Without H2O there is no life! ancient.al

If you encrypt your Time Machine drive, you can store the password in 1Password for your own reference. However, 1Password won’t be able to unlock the drive for you. That’s not really a huge deal though because you can store the password in the Mac’s keychain. This means your drive will be unloc
