Since Simon Fogarty here on this list mentioned that VirtualBox was accessible
i thought i would give it a try today.
It seems to work but when selecting an operating system i can only see windows
and no other systems to select from.
But i would like to try out som linux distributions in the

Yes, it’s a free alternative to VMWare. One of the advantages is that it has a
command line feature so you can script and type commands instead of point and
click and use the GUI.

I have a little background in programming, but not this much in a command line.

There is one possibility of using VoiceOver when working with a Linux VM but I
would expect it would not work very well.
1. Start Linux VM.
2. Start X11 server on the Macintosh and have it connect to the VM.
3. Try using VoiceOver with the X11 Screens.

Hmm, i haven’t tried this myself either.
WHen the Linux has started i deactivate Voiceover and use the linux
screenreader needed.
In my case it is Orca.
But it works like a charm.
