I'm on Windows 7, but it will run anything so long as you have the
installation. Yes, you can set up Fusion independently, but the Windows setup
will still not talk so you will need help with that part of things.

HI. I am running a vm quite successfully on a mac mini. Granted I have 8 gigs
of ram but as far as I know, if you’re not using the vm then your memory stays
with the mac os. I have a usb cd rom drive so I used that to install windows
from a cd. I think sighted assistance is needed to install
only one thing I would add here - read the fusion help system voraciously
before doing anything. It always helps to hear what the manufacturer has to say
about the matter.

I am totally blind and have never used sighted assistance to set up my vm.
After windows is loaded for the first time, I’ve either used narrator to go get
nvda, used my window eyes dvd to load WE, or installed nvda off of a usb stick.
