VoiceOver very sluggish when changing languages

Hi Mike, have a look here www.assistiveware.com The issue doesn’t occur if I switch between Acapela voices. If I switch to a Nuance voice it’s very sluggish as well. So it only makes sence to buy a german and an english Acapela voice. All the best Jürgen > Am

Thanks to everyone who has attempted to assist me with this problem. I am reluctant to buy new voices, especially since I am very satisfied with what I already have. If, for example, I bought voices from AssistiveWare, would I lose voices I already have on the system? I’d hate to lose Alex. T

Hello Mike and all. You wil not lose any voices that you have on the mac, if you buy from assistiveware they will just be added to the voiceover utility. You can try out the demo of each voice for 30 days, and then make your decision to purchase the voice. HTH. God bless. Matthew Dierckens Certi
