I have used an old iSight camera from Apple, but I don't think they make
those anymore. Found this thread on another discussion board which says
Macs support the UVC (Universal Video Class) USB cameras so anything
complying with that should work.

I have looked through the archives, but I have not found a good solution to my

Basically, I want to know what type of web cams do people recommend for use
with the Mac Mini? This will be primarily used for Skype.

I used an Sirius USB 2.0 in the previous version of OS X, unfortunately, its no
longer supported as of 10.6. Instead, I now use a sony handicap dcr-hc52 as my
camera of choice (plugged in via firewire). its ironic that i, a totally blind
person, still uses a video camera, but I like to tape stuf

I would like to purchase a web cam for my mac mini to be able to use skype.
As you all know the mac mini doesn't have one so my question is. For any
