Hi there, I struggled with this for a long time when I first tried youtube-dl too. Put quotations around the url and make sure that you are using a double dash — prior to the youtube-dl commands—hopefully the following line translates correctly in email: youtube-dl --extract-audio --audio-form

Hello, up to now I used You View as a You Tube downloader. Unfortunately it doesn’t support High Sierra and the developer seems not to release a new version soon. Which downloader do you recommend? I’d love to have an app rather than a web page. But a web page would be fine as well. Thanks
