Hi,
As far as I know, Airport Utility has not lost any accessibility. To change
the network password, I assume you mean the password people would use to
connect to your network. This is found under the Wireless tab. You can set
the security type, as in WPA2 and the password.

What *are* you seeing instead? Does the “Internet” icon show up and when

I'm actually running Lion. and I couldn't install the Airport Utility 5.6.
there was a problem with the installer and it failed four times in a row. I

Hi,
You will need to use that older version of Airport Utility. I expect that
since the firmware in the Express is slightly different than that of the
Extreme, it's not registering as an Airport device. I've not used that version

Hey all,
Is it safe & secure to use airport utility to set up my new airport extreme? I
thought it was usually better to set things up with a wired connection.
Of course, on my macbook air, there is no ethernet port.

Thanks. I wasn't sure which sidebar you were talking about, but I know of that
one in finder. But don't I have to do something to get the airport extreme to
see the hard drive?
When looking in the shared area in the sidebar, I don't see the drive; but
there is nothing currently on it.
Of course,
Hi,
If I'm understanding your question correctly, you're asking how to access the
drive that is connected via USB to the Airport Extreme. If so, then you'll
have to access it through the Sidebar in a Finder window. It will be within
the Shared section. If you've put security on it in AU, the

The two guys I talked with at Apple say that you can, but I'm not sure whether
this is done through iTunes or what?
I'm guessing you can access the files on the drive through iTunes; but not sure.
It's rather funny. One of the guys told me h
