I'm having trouble changing my text attributes in pages. I see a number of pop
up menus when I stop interacting with the scroll area which contains my text
but they are all dimmed and I can't click on them. I have found some of the

You'll need to use the Inspector to change some attributes. Highlight the area
you want modified, press command-option-I to bring up the Inspector and
navigate to the Text tab.
I've forgotten myself how to do things like mark up a document with headers.
