depending on the type is going to dictate the tools you use. for most data dvds, all one needs is a command line app called dd. the command reads like this: dd bs=1048576 if=/dev/ of=/Users//dvd.iso for video DVD's, you may need to use a different tool as you would also have to deal with the CS
