Creating a playlist in iTunes

Greetings. I would like to create a playlist in iTunes, add songs to it, and have it synced with my iPhone 6. Can someone give me simple steps for doing this? I am having problems adding songs to a playlist on my iPhone and wondered if it would be easier to do on the Mac. Thanks, Wayne -- Follow
