This is a fantastic problem that I myself had. It turns out there’s a version
of Java out there that points somewhere invalid. If you do a google search for
Java Download and simply download it directly from the correct website address
(instead of that more information link) you’ll find the vers
What were you doing at the moment the message appeared?
Java is seldom used on the web nowadays, but it does sometimes happen. I’m not
sure how accessible Java 7 is though, so even for desktop apps it might be
pointless you installing it.

Upon reflection, the only answer I can think to give you is in the form of a
question. Do you have any apps installed wihch necesitate Java? It's my
understanding that the talking communities app does require Java, which is why
I will never install such apps.

Hi all!
\I keep getting a message that I need to install Java, there is a click this
button for more information. I have it installed but it says it can't verify
ithe java version which is 8.4.5 I believe. Do I really need Java? How do i
make this message go a way?
