OK I've just had a go and if you go from [to field] to [subject field] you have
to tab!
But for some reason if you go back to [CC/BCC field] hitting VO+j takes you in
to the main body!

Why not just hit VO+Shift+End (VO+Shift+ FN+Right Arrow on my Macbook Pro)? As
long as you don't interact with the To and CC fields, this should take you
straight to the body. Just interact with it and start typing.

Knowing how flaky I have been lately i probably said vo shift down arrow
instead of end or something stupid like that. I also left out the importance of
not interacting. Blush. . That's what I ment. Smile. I use that in several
apps to get to the edit body etc.

Yes, that does work quite well. Oddly, though I have tab set to interact
automatically, I am able to tab around the window and still use this tick.

as far as I know, there is no shortcut. You just have to tab to the body.
