Facetime and imessage are a set of aplications that I think Apple is doing
interesting things with. Much cleaner and easier to use
To be sure, iMessage and FaceTime’s exclusivity to iPhone has been very helpful
for me, as a simple way of filtering out the nonsense, but given that Jobs
promised this stuff would be open, I can’t help but agree. Interoperability is
always for the better.

I just updated my Mac, today, to the latest version.
In the release notes, it states that the latest version of the Messaging App
now allows for people to send messages to your phone number and you will see
them on your Mac.

HI. ok so i have sinced my contacts with my mac and i was able to send a
message from the mac to a friend who has an iphone and she got it. However i
got the reply on my phone and not on the mac as far as i can see. is there a
way to also get the message in the messages app?

her phone. For example, ones iCloud e-mail or apple ID. But of course any
