Still > transiting from windows, so pleeease bear with me. :) If I remember rightly, you have to make sure your mouse cursor is on the link you want and use the VO command to click it, which is the vo keys plus shift plus space. I've actually switched from this to ICHM, which doesn't seem to make you do this and has a few more features.
