I’m sorry since I asked this question a short while back and got an answer, but
don’t remember how to do it. I’m reading an IBook on my IPhone 6 and when in
reading mode its skipping the odd numbered pages. So the material isn’t making
as much sense as it should.

simply use the inbuilt find command to jump to each of these.
If necessaries you could type ***1 ***2 etc to number bookmarks. In my
experience this is much quicker and easier to do than most inbuilt
bookmarking functions

it always says I am one inches right and 0.2 inches down from top... Is this

As you progress down the page, reporting of the position of the insertion
