failed to join the group to me. I'll get them set up. As I mentioned in
an earlier message it seems that one of the settings for joining got
changed to 'invite only' and I have now put this back. It's still not a
public group

unsubscribe from, and I don't think I had to have a google account to do this.
I think when I subscribed, it just told me an address where I was supposed to
send an email to with the subject of subscribe me or something,

The error is Google saying they don't have permission to join. I'm just not
sure how to tell people to join, and if they need a gmail address or not.

I never joined this list with a Gmail account. Why not go to Google and put in
the E-mail address you prefer as that is what I did and had no problem at the
time.

Anyone can join the group, there is just an approval process to weed out
spammers. I have not found any join requests in my inbox to approve.

A few people on the ViPhone list want to join this list. They are getting
errors from Google saying that this is an invite-only list and they cannot
subscribe. Why is that? I thought this list was only moderated, so new
subscribers would have to be okayed by a mod. How are people suppose
