Found this out last night. rEFIt will not work under Yosemite. Got
rEFInd and installed it today. Now to figure out how to use its tools
and get the Bootcamp partition bootable again.

No, as far as I can tell, BootCamp is for Windows platforms. I have since found
out that Refit is no longer being maintained. Refind has kind of taken its
place. I've installed it. After thirty seconds, Mac oS loads by default. once I
get Vinux via torrent, I'll try using it.

I meant to say that refit is a boot manager that includes a prtition
editor. I intend to use Disc Utility to edit my partitions.

I want to duel-boot Vinux and M L on my Mac mini. Life Hacker recommends Refit
Partition Manager, but I suspect it isn't usable with a screen reader. I would
like a duel-boot instead of a vm, because Vmware had an upgrade available just
after i bought it, and I really can't
