The Archive Utility that comes with OSX (located in
System/Library/CoreServices for some reason) will uncompress a dozen or
so file formats including zip, bzip2, gz, tar, tgz, jar, compress (.Z)
uuencode and others. So for most people it's all you'll need. Stuffit is

I have downloaded a program called StuffitExpander, but haven't tried it yet
and have no idea if its accessible. I suppose I should follow my own advice and
just give it a try and find out for myself,
hi phil stuffet expander will open just about anything so you can't go toomuch
wrong their, having used it when, i've unzipped files its accessible and
