If your Mac actually knows how to boot the UEFI loader of the Linux

I have some one who is being greatly annoyed by resource fork files as he
copies files from the mac into usb drives and then gets two of every file on
windows. Does anyone have an apple script we can put into the usb drives which
when run would remove the resource fork files? There
Weird, cause when I plugged it in, under fusion 5, it asked the usual, about
where I wanted to connect it. But then it said warning, a bootcamp driver is
required for this external super drive to work. Guess google will have to be

Hi Kliphton,
I don't know how to help you find a driver but I thought I would let
you know that I installed both windows 7 and JAWS on a new Mac book Pro using a
external new super drive from Apple and it just worked. I don't remember but
perhaps I did turn it on under devices in VM Fu
Hi, I am trying to help a friend with fusion, and we got windows installed just
fine. Went to install jaws, but the usb super drive he bought from apple,
needs a boot camp driver in order to work with fusion. Where do I get this
driver from, or is it not possible without installing boot camp?

Hi Steve.
If you are copying a file to this drive, it works quite often just to go ahead,
and do command V, Finer Busy or not while you " also turned VoiceOver off. Wait

I think this is similar to Bill's empty DVD problems but I'm actually
wondering what the solution is when I get into these situations. If I
plug in a USB drive which happens to have no files yet, the finder
goes into that damn busy stuff and I can't get out of it any way, any

Hi chris.
When in VM Fusion are you in full screen? If so change it by doing
control command and enter (hope that's right as I'm not sitting in front
of my mac). Then you should have a list of USB devices which you can
connect or disconnect. If you find what drive you need then press enter

I seem to be having difficulty attaching an NTFS usb drive to the XP virtual
machine in VM fusion. It does appear on the Mac desktop, but it doesn't seem to
want to attach in Fusion. Any ideas?

In general Apple has controlled the hardware/software package so
everything just works. The downside is that when you want to use a
'whatever' brand drive it can be hit or miss whether the Apple drivers
will recognize it. There have been folks who hacked the drivers to
