Hi all,
I have a western digital pasport which is not showing up. I am able to
deteced that ikt iks being seen or that it is getting power from the usb
port, but not
When on the desk top press command + shift + c.
This will bring up a list of all connected devices like hard drives.

I've seen firmware issues with Western Digital HDs that cause them to not show
up properly. Try going to the WD web-site and seeing if there are any firmware
updates for your unit. Barring that, I think that it's bad news especially
since it's happening on both platforms.
