fwiw I also thing you are over-reacting to karma. :)
Propose for a deal: let the karma system develop and flow and let's have
a look to it again in, say, 3 months.
My bet today is that it will help improving

Hacker version has some dirty patches. Tapioca is/was forced to use
video and patches tries to disable it. These patches can be found at
tracker/patches from https://garage.maemo.org/projects/os2007on770/
I made calls between n800 and 770-hacker without crashing. Even
n800s camera was enabled.

Hi,
Let me tell something clear: the 770 and N800 device programs were
executed without much complaints from your side. Expect results at least
as good in the N810 maemo device program. You filed your submissions,
you provided your reasons... that's all you need. The karma, yes, is a

Ok... what is the "karma" useful for? I didn't get the point. Is it
important to have a high karma

I am particularly interested to know if it works with the Speakeasy VOIP
service. Here is the url to the www site for Speakeasy for those who are

Hi,
I noticed maemo chinook beta sdk includes the libxslt package but the
respective -dev package is missing. So I fetched the sources with
apt-get souce and tried to build it myself but got a strange error I
haven't seen yet while building other packages for chinook.

Harini,
using http://gtalk2voip.com/ you can talk to the sip world using the gtalk
client in OS2006. The user interface is not very sophisticated though...

I think the n810 is going to be using a mozilla based browser as the
default. (correct me if i'm wrong).
so probably mozilla's SVG support is where you should look.

Hi
I'd like to share a simple 5-step plan :) It seems that the discussion
again somehow stopped. The first steps of the plan seem to be quite
practical, so hopefully we can start implementing something. And I'd
strongly suggest we proceed with step 5 only after having implemented
steps 1-4 :)
Hi,
reading specs for N810 I see "SVG support". Can anyone point me to a "N810
SVG support status" page, with some more details ?
Thanks in advance, everybody.

I suppose you'll have to get the source and compile minisip (you don't
need to build the GUI)
Good luck

Hi,
I also tried on the OS 2007 hacker version, you think there is anything else
i can do?
I didn't try Minisip since it is currently not available for the N770.

currently working (packages are out-datedd).

I think Tapioca is only available on OS2007 which is not available on

did you try minisip ?

Hi,
I need to install a VOIP client on the N770. I need an application whose
source code is available and the application should be in such a way that i
am able to extend and customize it to my use. I found Tapioca that perfectly
suited all my needs. But I am not able to install it on my N77

Of course the applications are not part of the platform. Platforms in
general don't have any applications as such.
