Take a look at tablet-encode
Thank you and also Martin for the very helpful information.
It's disappointing to learn that the N810 is so underpowered, especially
compared to the LG KU990 "Viewty" that claims to be able to decode full VGA
DivX at 30fps (although it only has a wide-QVGA screen).
It strikes me as be
Hi,
I am using a http proxy with authentification and when I configure my N800 to
use it (Control->Connection Settings ... ) the graphical packet manager

Hi
# echo 0 >/proc/sys/vm/vdso_enabled
Makes scratchbox environment (at least with Maemo 2.2 rootstrap) to work
with Fedora 8 (and Fedora 7) (IA32 platform).
It took a while for me to figure this out, hopefully this helps any other
who had problems there.
This info has been found in #maemo irc

I ran this script:
[sbox-CHINOOK_X86: ~] > cat start_hildon.sh
#!/bin/bash
export DISPLAY=:2
af-sb-init.sh start
maybe the DISPLAY variable is not exported... manually it works :P
Thanks anyway

Hi,
It works well on the N800 with OS2008.
Text size 14 is preferred. By the way, the text is only readable in full
size mode.
The clicks to the next/previous pages are going very well.
p10 : I don't see a new webbrowser popping up.
Cheers, Jan

Hi everyone,
this is my first post in here and the most strange thing about it is that i
am,
at the moment, not an owner of a n800 or n810.
Nevertheless, i want to publish an ezine called ATARASHI,
specially designed for the n800 and n810 display at 800x480.
The only problem is that as i do not ow

30 fps is too much. Around 20 is doable with the included gstreamer decoder. Be
aware that it does not support MPEG4 ASP (aka lots of
