I built a couple of Xnee versions for N900: http://itupw056.itu.chalmers.se/xnee/special-dist/maemo/bin/ I will see when I introduced the error. I guess somewhere around the time RECORD extension was broken in Xorg. Once I see this I will verify/test Xnee and we update to Xnee 3.06. thanks
