Nokia, and a very personal thanks to Quim. I must say that I am quite
sad how squirrelly the whole process was without Quim working to put
things straight (or at least that is the way it felt).

is what the person I spoke with asked about several times. I will try
that and see what happens.

Nokia,
N810 is in stock but I am still having this problem. I called the
phone number, but they said the gift certificate had no balance and
the best they could do was $75.00 off.

Nokia,
The N810 is available today at letstalk.com but they do not accept
my discount code. Is there another place I should go to purchase?

Nokia Folks,
I would really appreciate some kind of response or information
from Nokia for the folks in the US. The recent "N810 maemo program
instructions" email was not clear about us and I am concerned that
with what appears to be poor device availability and poor Nokia to

All,
So, just so I am clear. Will there be a USA based store that will
accept a discount code or not?

All,
Heads up! Buying from the Nseries site is different than buying
from the Nokia site. The Nseries site offers no place to put a
discount coden during the purchase process!

All,
The N810 can now be ordered although it is not in stock and shows
back ordered until the 19th. I was hoping to place my order so it
would be shipped as soon as it was available but I went through the
process until confirmation of the purchase and there was not a place
to put my discount c
Tilman,
That did it! Thank you! Sounds like an update for the developer
documentation.
All,
How does one go about updating the developer documentation?

All,
I am having trouble getting my test application to show an icon in
the menu in the chinook SDK. I get the following error and the
application has the default icon:
hildon-desktop[12021]: GLIB WARNING ** default - Error loading icon
'hello_icon_40x40': Icon 'hello_icon_40x40' not present
Jesse,
Not trying to throw "stop energy" into the mix, just reflecting on
some of your points. You did ask for comments. So here are a few. :-)

FYI to US based folks (maybe others too?). The Nokia Nseries website
(http://www.nseries.com) is now taking email addresses for
availability notification.

All,
I found the following when I tried to use the list archives link
on http://maemo.org/community/mailing-lists.html :

You don't have permission to access /pipermail// on this server.
Someone doing maintenance or did an admin slip with some bad perms maybe?
