Hi guys,
I recently found that an ISP - Reliance Telecom here provides a USB
modem, which uses CDMA technology for establishing a dial-up
connection. This modem works perfectly with a Linux based machine.

Hi all,
I was going through the Wiki when I came across
http://maemo.org/maemowiki/LiveCD project. This live CD was for Maemo
1.1
Do we have anything similar for Maemo 3.0 (Bora)? And getting it
installed to a partition would be even nicer! Any work going on in
this respect?
Thanks,

My name is Mayank (aka makuchaku) & I'm from India. My uncle, in US

Hi all :-)
I was updating & bugfixing Maemo Terminal when I realized, I could
have named my widgets & functions much better. So, is there any
standard way of doing so? Like using m_ for every member variable or
something like that?
What conventions should be followed for local variables, globals,

Hi all :)
I was just curious, what do "Maemo" & "Hildon" actually (theoritically) mean?
Almost every name has a meaning, or atleast a theory behind it, like
"Mayank" means "Moon".
Ofcourse, "makuchaku" also has a theory, but its kinda quite weird... :-D

Hi all,
I'm feeling very happy to announce the release of "Maemo Terminal
v0.1". Its a very basic implementation of a shell prompt for Nokia
770. More sophistication will follow ;-)
You can download the tarball (which i've finally made after much hair
pulling) from

Hi J
Hi,
I'm running Xephyr at 16bit depth, maemo runs perfectly, but I get
these errors (CRITICAL) in the terminal. Also, input to my
GtkTextEntry fails randomly. Randomly in sense, it works some times,
dosn't works rest of the times.
Please suggest a remedy.
Thanks.

Eclipse 3.0.1, installed the cdt packages. How do I setup Laika?

Hi all,
Since all I have used is the Xnest Nokia 770 emulator, I was wondering
that does the real thing has the command line utilities, or even
supports them?
Is the real tablet, an exact implementation of debian (obviously
stripped down version)? Can a command line be implemented on the Nokia
