there is no difference between 10mW and 100mW setting on my device. It
both works the same.
Maybe 100mW are not needed and 10mW is enough for you. I suspect that my
device is not even making 10mW. 100mW minus 15dB would mean something
like 3mW.

the power is set to 100mW and will be used for new connections, too
(that's what advanced setting shows). I also tried flashing all the
software images available, they showed the same result.

no, I really do like the Nokia 770, the idea of an open source device

for some time and watched the development of the 770 from the very
beginning, jealously saw a friend receive a 770 from the first
developer batch.
