Hi all,
I'm trying to develop an application using WiFi (which depends on link quality).
Do you use an IDE? Can't we test the vistamax plug in ?

I've tried kedit :) this works great but I can't make a deb package.

So I use eclipse with its maemo plug in. But It seems to be very complicated!!

I have compiled the example: maemopad with an i386 compiler & make a deb package. It's OK. When I try to do the same with the ARM compiler I get this error:

dpkg-deb: building package `maemopad' in `../maemopad_1.1_arm.deb'.
tar: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libfakeroot/libfakeroot-tcp.so.0: ELF file OS ABI invalid
dpkg-deb: subprocess tar -cf returned error exit status 127
dh_builddeb: command returned error code 512

What does it mean ? This library is in /usr/lib/libfakeroot ....

Thanks a lot for helping me.

Fred
