Looks like it is no longer working. I tried with the dbus command that used
to work with PR 1.1 (http://wiki.maemo.org/Phone_control#Deactivate_LEDs),
and it doesn't work. I also tried sending an IM message to the native IM
application, and even that didn't turn the blue LED on.

Thanks, the settings of notification lights had IM notifications not
selected. The settings must have been reset during the 1.1 to 1.2 upgrade.
Fixing the settings fixed the problem.
