Hi,
There has been support for and no objections to the below proposal.
How do we go about implementing this?
Thanks,

Hi Neal,
Thank you for taking the time to post this and to make a proposal. In my
opinion, the testing of packages is an essential function of the community
and we should come up with a solution that accounts for the lesser volume
of active participants in maemo these days.
FWIW, the council (of
Hi,
I propose that since most devs are asking others to vote for them
we remove the whole testing requirement and make promoting to extras-testing
something that's at the will of the developer.

Thanks a lot, Niels!
I can confirm that it's working fine, now. Allowing long lines was a
good choice IMHO, as it seems that quite a few packages have their
icons displayed now, which didn't show one before.

Hi,
same here, so it might be a general problem with the Diablo promoter.
Besides taking 9 days for the package interface to recognize that a
package has been updated, and then complaining that the package didn't
have a proper description (which it certainly has). The package icon
is not imported,

That is from the package event field on the page.
So you have about one day and ten hours of waiting left :-)
