Greetings. I have just acquired a Nokia 770 (please don't tell my wife), and I'm having some trouble finding software for it. I'm enough of a hacker that all I really need is perl and a web server that runs CGI, but not enough of a hacker that I'm ready to download the SDK and compile thttpd.

kernel image in n800

Where does the kernel image the n800 boots from reside? I would like to experiment with booting the kernel image that goes with maemo_dev_platform_v3.1_armel-rootfs.tgz in the qemu arm emulator. I don't see the kernel image in the armel-rootfs anywhere. Chris Marshall

What's your N800 update version? 4.2007.26-8 ? I installed Gnumeric without any problems on my N800 with 4.2007.26-8 firmware. Gnumeric is a large app, and it needs about 32MB of free space on memory. I want to find a way to put all my app's in my mmc card... Because I'm without much free
