But I'm using 64-bit Fedora. Yeah, I downloaded the rpm files at
http://scratchbox.org/download/files/sbox-releases/x86_64/rpm
and installed them one by one. Then reboot. The system seems to recognize
scratchbox, I ran run_me_first.sh. But the error message is:
cp: cannot stat `/etc/hostname': No
Merry Christmas, everyone!

Hi David, don't say that :) I'm very proud of my 770, and don't want to
change it for an 800/810...
Salut,
Sebas.

I'm having a unusual problem where proxy settings from another defined
connection have permanently "contaminated" the settings written into
the prefs.js for the browser. No matter what settings I choose for my
current connection it always writes in the proxy settings from a
former connection (I de

Sorry for all these retro-770 posts, but I'm trying to get an existing
investment to pay off. Does anyone know of a replacement handwriting
recognition system for N770? I think the factory one is just awful,
unusable -- far worse than my 1997 Palm Pilot. Did anyone ever hack
something better for

Yes, I tried to set the IP address of the repository manually in
/etc/hosts. Unfortunately

Hi all,
I would really like to be able to encrypt sensitive files on my N800 running
OS2008.
I looked at Maemo Kcrypt in the Maemo Garage, but it demands some libe which
my N800 claims are not available (even tho I do have the repositories
installed which should have everything in them necessary)

I've had good success with it on my Ubuntu Gutsy system by follo
Hi all,
I used Maemo on a 32-bit Ubuntu well, but when I moved to 64-bit Fedora,
there're a lot of problem I have been dealing with during installation.
Begin with Scratchbox.
As I know, Scratchbox is 32-bit supported only. So I can't install by script
like file INSTALL.txt described. By searchin
Thank you all, finally I got it... with 'wvdial'... I've explained the
