That's the SDK repo, _not_ a basic user repository.
Installing packages from there is certainly possible, but results may
vary. Quote from http://repository.mae

Hi, now that I've got Skype installed on my N810, I'm wondering if
there's a way to enable video (the n810 has a nice little camera for
video conferencing, why not use it?). I haven't found anything in the
Skype settings to enable this.
thanks,

I've found that xgalaga and indtgames are not installable in the latest

I was able to install xgalaga, on my n810 with the latest firmware, and

Hm... I guess if it's in the Extras repository it should install without
needing any more repos, no?

Depends on the repository and the owner. Official Nokia software bugs
are dealt at http://bugs.maemo.org . Third party software bugs (like the
cases you expose) depend on
Ok, i think this will be my last question for the night.
There was a vnc viewer in the bora extras repository which was really great on
my HE-installed 770, but it doesn't seem to be in the chinook extras. Anyone
know why?
Also what's the best way to get it installed? I found
http://vncviewer.
ok, i can answer my own question here:
There's a 'test' version of a chinook release of vncviewer at
https://garage.maemo.org/frs/?group_id=119&release_id=1219 which should work
fine the n810.

Cool. Thanks Quim. I wasn't sure if there was any extra QA before stuff gets
into extras. I'll check out those garage pages.
