Hi,
I did a software update, which has worked imperfectly. I would like to
repeat it, but when I try, instead of staying in update mode, the tablet
boots itself.
I'm running it through Parallels on the mac, which likely adds to the
confusion. I can try it on a windows box at home, but my
If it is your DHCP server in your home network, just bind the N800's
MAC to specific IP address in the dhcpd.conf file.
For example,
host N800 {
hardware ethernet 08:00:2b:4c:59:23;
fixed-address 192.168.1.222;
}
The same address will always be assigned via DHCP for your N800 this way.

I thank everyone for all the help, I went and downloaded the most minimal
of items, the pager "less", and it just built right up without the least
problems. All those packages I was never able to get working, because the
dependencies were always missi

I am still installing the sdk. I have gotten to the point where it's
asking me to install the Debian packages, and I'm not sure, is this an
optional item, or could I pass it up? I'm running Gentoo, and I really,
really would NOT want to install a sec

After some googling i've found that everyone aware of the problem, but
than half year of silence and disappointment about last ITOS release.
I installed latest rtcomm update from rtcomm.garage.maemo.org and can
confirm, situation still the same - no response on DTMF generated by

Hi all,
You can't *really* cleanly uninstall the default e-mail program, but
here are some
hints: (I should blog these, I guess).

I also reported it to the address in the error last Friday, but it
appears it didn't
Just in case no-one's reported this yet: bugs.maemo.org has been
read-only for four days. Below is an example of what happens when I try
to vote (at around 11:05 UTC today).
