Hyperlinks seem to work in Evince (just tested.) I personally use Evince
because it seems like a fuller PDF viewer (though it does seem slightly
slower.) I'd suggest looking

i removed the modest package:
apt-get remove modest
apt removed the following packages too:
camera gpscamera libosso-email-interface modest numptyphysics osso-addressbook
osso-email-interface osso-filemanager osso-filemanager-ui osso-global-search
osso-imageviewer
After
apt-get update
You could try downloading and forcing the apps to re-install, or just do a
backup, re-flash, and restore.
If you pre-download the BIN file the reflash only take about 2 min.

i removed the modest package:
apt-get remove modest
apt
... and reinstalling all your apps and getting all the settings
changed back to the way you want them when the restore doesn't work
properly only takes you about 2 days... :-P
I won't be updating to Diablo for a long while yet. From what I've
been seeing, there are some very serious issues

started with the first poster not reading what was going to happn when
he removed modest.
I am a long time Linux user and i am VERY carefull when im root on the

I have Claws v3.4.0-1 installed in ITOS 2007 running a N800. I had an
epiphany the other day which caused me to screw around with moving my
files. I had been saving my files to one of the memory cards and not to
the device flash. I have now moved them into the device flash
