When I open pictures it shows a message (yellow stripe in the middle)
receiving information from blah
then shows all my flag icons.

for the time being I had resolved it as I said by moving the folder outside
MyDocs.
but then I could not use the pyGTKEditor which I am trying out.
by the way, why is it than when you *mv* a file or a dir you get that error
about mv cannot retain owne

Edit /home/user/.config/tracker/tracker.cfg and add the directories
with the images you want excluded to the NoWatchDirectory line.

Recently my N900 have started to not recognize the normal Nokia headset any
more. Other headphones or line-in connections are still working, so it might be
a problem with the headset. After several retries (up to 10 minutes) it finally
recognizes it again.
This is obviously very annoying.
