dit you have tryed to copy
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/hildon-application-manager.list
to
/etc/apt/sources.list
and do an 'apt-get update' afterwards?
AFAIK apt-get only looking to /etc/apt/sources.list for his cataloges.
When this file is empty apt does'nt know what to install
