Don't know if it can help but I had a similar problem. It was caused by a
bug related to auto-completion. My battery lasted only a few hours...

Where could I find the deb package for lynx ? I cannot find it and the
default browser of N800 ITOS 2007 doesn't allow you to download a link
in an HTML page.
