Google contact sync

I can't get syncing of contacts with gmail to work, neither with mail for exchange nor using the syncevolution client (https://m.google.com/syncml is 404). Is it still possible to sync the n900's contact database against gmail? -- Philipp H

Broken jack - enforce headphone mode

Hi, my n900's headphone jack is in a pretty bad condition; depending on the model, headphones aren't recognized anymore or just make bad contact. Does anyone have experience with fixing the jack? Or is it possible to force the n900 into headphone mode manually? TIA, -- Philipp H

Sticky Fn/modifier keys

To wrap it up: Meego let me down, I finally reflashed. The problem was the ubifs used on the maemo root. Couldn't get it mounted in meego. Most of the backup-restore worked fine, a bunch of apps are missing. So, no way to access the rootfs without maemo; mission failed. -- Philipp Haselw
